Surprise Party by Alice Caye. This book is great for 2nd - 3rd year French students - the first chapter is in French, the second in English, etc. Readers begin the story in one language, but to find out what happens next, they must switch to the other! While students from the French school and the English school are getting ready for Annabelle's birthday party, strange things are going on in the vacant lot... Zoé is hiding stray cats there. Includes activities and the answers in the back.
