Stolen Kisses (Baisers Volés) DVD

Stolen Kisses (Baisers Volés) DVD - 1968 French film directed by François Truffaut. One of Truffaut's great films, a romantic comedy about young love that is sweet, wise and often explosively funny. Acadamy Award nominee for best foreign language film. Antoine Doinel joined the army but has just been discharged. The film tells his reunion with Christine Darbon, the girl he was in love with before the beginning of the film, and his series of ill-fated jobs: finally settling on an amusing stint as a private investigator. In his ever-turbulent love life, he is torn between an attractive, serious young violinist and a glamorous, older married woman. Stars Jean-Pierre Léaud, Claude Jade and Delphine Seyrig. Rated R, 90 minutes. French soundtrack, with or without English subtitles and includes a vintage Truffaut trailer collection.
