Level 1 - Pobre Ana Moderna

Pobre Ana Moderna by Blaine Ray with contributions by Martina Bex and Michael Coxon. Ana thinks her life is so bad because things aren’t going her way with her family. When she compares herself to her friends, things get even worse. Her only solution is to go to Mexico for a couple of months and escape all of her problems. Will a summer in Mexico be the answer to her problems or will things in her life stay the same? Pobre Ana moderna is an updated version of the classic novel Pobre Ana.  The book features rich interaction with the culture in Tepic, Ana’s obsession with having an iPhone, and illustrations throughout. Paperback
