Those for Grades 3-5 omit \"Coloring\" while the rest remains. \"Coloring\" familiarizes students with the strokes and structures of the new characters. \"Listening\" reinforces the key and difficult points of the texts through two exercises: true or false and single choice questions. See the teacher's books for the transcripts and keys to the listening exercises. \"Character Learning\" includes the exercises, such as matching, forming words, Bingo game and forming characters, which help students review pronunciations, meanings, and structures of the new words. \"Writing\" helps students practice writing characters. \"Singing\", by means of music, familiarizes students with the texts and the related topics, characters, grammar, language functions, and so on. The activity of \"Role Play\" engages students in props making and mini-plays to act out the text or a similar scenario.
