A widowed aeronautics engineer, who has lost his job, travels with his 11-year-old son hopping freight trains from Moscow to Koktebel, a town by the Black Sea, to start a new life with the father's sister. For the father, the journey is an attempt to restore his self-respect, to piece together his broken life and win back the trust of his son. For the boy, the mythical coastal town holds the key to a new life and emancipation. Stars Gleb Puskepalis and Igor Csernyevics.
