Café de Flore DVD - 2011 French and Canadian film directed by Jean-Marc Vallée.  A love story between a man and woman and between a mother and her son. A mystical and fantastical odyssey on love and soulmates.  From 1960's Paris to present-day Montréal comes an epic love story.  It is somber, troubling and luminous all at once and yet filled with hope.  Colored with hues of fantasy and bathed in a surrealistic light, Café de Flore tells the story of the intertwining destinies of Jacqueline, a young Parisian mother of a special child, Antoine, a Montréal dj, and the women in his life. What binds them all is love: troubling, clumsy, imperfect, unattainable and ultimately human.  Stars Vanessa Paradis, Kevin Prent, Hélène Florent and Evelyne Brochu.  Rated PG-14 in Canada for nudity, sexuality and possible offensive language.  2 hours, in French with optional English or French subtitles.
