How To Place An Order

Online Ordering:

Placing an order with World of Reading is easy and secure.  Simply locate the item(s) you wish to purchase from our extensive selection and follow these steps:

When the desired product is found, click on the Order button.

• The contents of your shopping basket will be displayed. This information reveals the product number, title, quantity, and per unit cost. If multiple quantities of the same item are desired, you may change the number of items from the default of one (1) to the appropriate number. You may continue shopping by clicking on the Continue Shopping tab below or Category tab on the side of the web page, or you may go to checkout by clicking on the Proceed to Checkout button. Each time subsequent items are selected for purchase, by clicking on the associated Order button, this shopping basket page will appear to reveal the total contents and price. Items may be removed from the shopping basket by deselecting the check mark and clicking on the Recalculate button.

Previous customers can log in with their password. First time customers must fill in billing address, shipping address and the shipping method (options explained below)

You can then review your order, cancel your order, or proceed.

You then enter your credit card details, putting no dashes or spaces in.

You can still cancel the order or continue.

An Order Number will then appear and you can print the order for your records.
You will receive an automated e-mail confirmation of your order. If we are out of stock and won't be able to ship for more than a day, we will contact you by e-mail or phone to see if a back-order is acceptable.

Payment Methods

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express if you want to prepay by credit card.

You may give us your credit card information via online, phone (1-800-729-3703) or (404-233-4042) or fax (404-237-5511). For payment by check or money order, print out a copy of your completed order form and mail this to us with your check to World of Reading, Ltd., P.O. Box 13092, Atlanta, GA  30324-0092. We will charge a $25 fee on all returned checks.

Check or Money Order - you can complete your order online - and under payment method choose "order by mail" - you can then print out the completed order form and mail it to World of Reading with a check or money order.

Purchase Order - Schools, Universities and Libraries in the U.S. ONLY can order online with a purchase order - terms are net 30 days.

Orders must be placed by 12 noon Eastern Standard Time to be shipped that same day (providing we have the items in stock). If we are out of stock and cannot ship by the next day (for orders placed after 12 noon) - we will send an e-mail to confirm that a back-order is acceptable.

For overnight shipping to arrive before the end of the day (10:30 am service and noon service), please call for the cost.

Orders to Hawaii, Alaska and Puerto Rico are shipped Priority Mail for ground shipments and Express Mail for overnight shipments, and there is NOT a 2nd day option.
