Bahasa Kita is a program for beginners. There are interactive exercises and spoken examples with clear explanations of the language structure. It is designed for the needs of students and business people. There are concise cultural notes on social customs. Many of the 12 units address both a specific area of language and a particular situation. There is access to a talking dictionary which includes most of the words used. Within the language practice there is useful information for travellers. You can choose from various options, for example, spoken English translations can be on or off. Many of the exercises can even be used for Indonesians to practise English. Games include four crossword puzzles and a computerised “hangman” game.
